At Adorable African Food, we take pride in delivering fresh, high-quality, and carefully handled African food products. Due to the perishable and edible nature of our items, we have a strict policy to ensure food safety, quality control, and fairness.
1. No Refund Policy
All items sold on our website are perishable and edible food products. As such:
- We do not offer refunds under any circumstances.
- All purchases are final once orders are processed and shipped.
2. No Returns Policy (Food Safety)
For the safety of our customers and others:
- We do not accept returns of any edible or perishable items
- Returned food items cannot be restocked or resold due to health and safety regulations.
3. Replacement Policy (Limited Cases Only)
While we do not offer refunds or returns, we may provide replacements only under the following verified conditions: Only regular-priced items may be replaced. Sale items cannot be replaced.
A. Missing Items (Order Error)
If we mistakenly omitted an item from your order:
- Notify us within 24 hours of delivery
- Provide your order number
- Once verified, we will ship the missing item at no additional cost
B. Spoiled or Damaged Items
If your item arrives spoiled, damaged, or not in good condition:
- Contact us within 24 hours of delivery
- Provide clear photo evidence
- Include your order number and description of the issue
Once reviewed and approved, we will replace the affected item(s).
C. Delivery Not Received
If your order was not delivered by the shipping carrier:
- Notify us within 48 hours of the expected delivery date
- We will investigate with the carrier
If confirmed, we will replace your order at no additional cost.
D. Delivered to Wrong Address (Carrier Error)
If your order was delivered to the wrong address due to carrier error:
- Notify us within 48 hours
- We will verify with the carrier
Once confirmed, we will replace your order.
4. Non-Eligible Situations
We do not offer replacements in the following cases:
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer
- Failed delivery due to customer unavailability
- Delays caused by the shipping carrier that do not result in loss
- Dissatisfaction based on personal taste or preference
- Natural variations in fresh or frozen food products
5. Shipping & Liability (Perishable Goods)
Due to the sensitive nature of frozen and perishable food items:
- All orders are carefully packaged with appropriate materials (including insulation and cooling methods) to preserve freshness during transit.
- Once an order is handed over to the shipping carrier, responsibility for delivery timing lies with the carrier.
Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that:
- The shipping address provided is accurate and complete
- Someone is available to receive the package upon delivery
- The package is retrieved promptly to prevent spoilage
Transit Risk
While we take every precaution to protect your order:
- We are not liable for delays caused by the shipping carrier, weather conditions, or unforeseen logistics issues
- We are not responsible for spoilage resulting from delayed pickup after delivery
Replacement Exception
If the carrier:
- Fails to deliver your package,
- or Delivers it to the wrong address,
and this is verified, we will replace your order at no additional cost.
